As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
• Conducting experiments using standard and advanced molecular biology techniques, such as DNA/RNA purifications, TaqMan, sequencing library preparations, ATAC-Seq, and other genotyping methodologies.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of work performed and developing/maintaining databases as required.
• Assisting with quality control of genotype, DNA and RNA sequencing data, ELISA, and phenotype data, bioinformatics correlations, and statistical analysis of data.
• Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to established procedures, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
• Serving as an assistant in the performance of experiments, training and leading students through various laboratory-related activities, collecting, sorting, processing samples, performing analysis, and presenting results.
This position requires a high degree of independence, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for laboratory research, we encourage you to apply.
