Mechanical and Electrical Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction during functional performance testing of all mechanical and electrical systems
  • Actively manage multiple consultants, subcontractors, and vendors through a robust commissioning plan and program
  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in updating and achieving schedule requirements, with a specific focus on mechanical and electrical RFI's, shop drawings, procurement and administrate mechanical/electrical project completion requirements
  • Assist in managing Key Mechanical, Electrical and Technology Subcontractors

Requirements:

  • A construction related degree/diploma and 2 years of mechanical and electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • A working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering systems, principles and practices
  • The ability to proactively identify and document any problems/conflicts and effectively manage and resolve them
