Operations Strategist

Cenovus is seeking an Operations Strategist to join our team. This role is a key support to the senior operation leadership team to manage and coordinate complex business initiatives and operational activities across conventional assets.

The ideal candidate will have extensive operational knowledge of oil and gas wells, facilities, and gathering systems, as well as experience in upstream operations and risk management principles. They will be responsible for providing technical support, managing multidisciplinary teams, contributing to business strategies, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

As an Operations Strategist, you will develop rollout strategies for change initiatives, support engineering troubleshooting, and ensure regulatory and environmental compliance. You will also oversee vehicle assignments, coordinate repairs, assist with vehicle redeployment or replacement, and manage UTV/ATV maintenance and insurance renewals.
