Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Aquatics team in the City of Airdrie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor pool operations and ensure compliance with provincial legislation and industry standards.
  • Provide lifeguarding and instructional services to patrons.
  • Supervise and lead lifeguards and pool staff during designated shift times.
  • Coordinate provision of lifeguard and instructional services to ensure exceptional teamwork.
  • Perform first aid and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool environment, including the change rooms and surrounding areas.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of age (18 years for Aquatic Shift Leader).
  • Current certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR.
  • Supervisory experience and strong leadership qualities (for Aquatic Shift Leader).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
