About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Creative Director to join our team at Namtex Canada Inc. as a key member of our design team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Oversee and manage a team of designers, ensuring the successful execution of design projects.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Design and Development
    • Develop and implement design concepts and strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business objectives.
  • Exhibition and Display Design
    • Design and develop permanent and temporary exhibitions, displays, and retail spaces that showcase our products in an engaging and effective manner.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that design solutions meet their expectations.
  • Work Environment and Support
    • Ensure a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
    • Provide support and accommodations for employees with disabilities, promoting a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
    • Develop and implement diversity and cross-cultural training programs to promote a culture of inclusion and respect.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g. fashion design, fine arts, etc.).
    • Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Excellent design and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
