About the Opportunity
Capstone Infrastructure Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset Manager to join our dynamic operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, driving the energy transition forward through creative thinking and strong partnerships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with goals and objectives for the Company, working closely with senior management and plant managers in the business planning and forecasting processes for corporate and operational assets. They will also support the development and implementation of Capstone Operational Excellence Management Systems (COEMS) and Operating Program, collaborating with all Plant managers to report on a standardized Asset Integrity Management Plan.
Additionally, the Asset Manager will assist in the preparation and approval process of operating budgets, work with the team to support the implementation of the company-wide contract management system, and review and negotiate commercial contracts. They will also participate in special projects, providing support to the team for business decisions, and assist in the due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or business/commerce, with 5-7 years of work experience in a similar role in the renewable energy field, primarily in wind generation. They will possess excellent written and verbal English skills, effective presentation and reporting abilities, and be a flexible problem solver with the ability to work and collaborate with team members and quickly learn new concepts/processes.
