Role Overview


We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Solutions Consultant to join our team at Grafana Labs. As an Enterprise Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to our customers, utilizing your expertise in data visualization and workflow recommendations.



Main Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:



  • Working closely with customers to understand their business needs and distilling that information into actionable business and technical requirements.
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions using Grafana products, including data visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces, and more.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services, to drive innovation and improvements in future product and offering enhancements.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of leading-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, Prometheus, Cortex, Loki, Jaeger, and Tempo.
  • Providing expert-level support to customers, ensuring they receive world-class experiences and achieve rapid time-to-value with Grafana offerings.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on complex technical requirements, resource constraints, and enterprise-scale architecture.


Requirements



To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:



  • 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams, utilizing project management techniques.
  • Detailed knowledge of o11y stacks, including visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces, and more.
  • A proven track record of successful customer project delivery, preferably enterprise o11y implementations for large customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Executive presence, with the ability to interact with business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.

  • A self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies.
  • Eager to break new ground and take our company to the next level.
  • Able to read code, with a preference for GoLang, JS, or TypeScript.
  • Familiar with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Experienced in systems architecture design and software engineering.


Compensation


The base compensation range for this role in Canada is $165,000 CAD - $200,000 CAD, depending on level, experience, and skillset assessed during the interview process.
