Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Task Outfitter to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Task Outfitter, you will be responsible for executing visual merchandising plans, planograms, and flyer/ad sets on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support visual merchandising for assigned areas, including fixture replacement, updating signage, updating end caps, floor moves, mannequin dressing, and prep and setup of merchandise for ads
  • Perform resets for assigned departments when required
  • Assist with merchandise purges when assigned
  • Perform replenishment tasks across departments, including filling, folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, hanging, and locating items
  • Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions when working on the sales floor during store open hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Two or more years' experience in merchandising is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered with hiring preference given to those with at least six months of merchandising experience
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
  • Ability to use good judgment and logic
  • Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
  • Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products is an asset
