As a Construction Laborer Specialist, you will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks in various locations, including loadings and unloadings of construction materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Fast-paced work environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs)
