Job Overview

Aquatech Canadian Water Services Inc. is a leading provider of water and wastewater management services in Alberta. We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water treatment and distribution systems, as well as wastewater treatment and collection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
  • Collect and analyze water and wastewater samples.
  • Interpret laboratory results and make adjustments to treatment processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid Level 2 certification in Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Wastewater Treatment, and Wastewater Collection.
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 25 kg (55 lb).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge.
