Job Title: General Manager - Trucking Company

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our trucking company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including managing resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions
  • Coordinate work across regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or executive staff and delegate authority
Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal awareness and team player skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload
  • Computer and technology skills, including MS Office
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. They will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability:

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and team player skills. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a large workload.
