Job Title: Computer Programmer

We are seeking a skilled Computer Programmer to join our team at 2704989 Ontario Inc. in Brampton, ON.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, modifying, integrating, and testing software code, as well as maintaining existing computer programs and identifying technical problems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
  • Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
  • Research and evaluate various software products
  • Program special effects software for film and video applications
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
