Job Summary:

SMART Rehabilitation Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you will work with clients in various settings, including long-term care, community, and clinic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and functional ability
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care and develop strategies for improvement

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
