Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of the retail service establishment. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner
- Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management
- Manage cash and maintain accurate records
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal stock levels
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles
