School Counselor

At Anglophone North School District, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Social Worker I to join our Child and Youth (C&Y) ISD team.

The successful candidate will provide integrated assessment and intervention services to children, youth, and families with identified multiple needs. This will involve working collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans that address the 5 core areas of development: health and wellness, emotional and behavioral functioning, family relationships, educational development, and social development.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children, youth, and families
• Develop and implement individualized plans to address identified needs
• Provide counseling and therapy services to children, youth, and families
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies to support families and communities
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in the field

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
• Experience working with children, youth, and families in a school or community setting
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
