Job Overview

The City of Toronto is seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Senior Information Technology Audit and Compliance Specialist. This position plays a pivotal role in planning, coordination, and implementation of the ITS Department's IT Governance and Quality Management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Ensure the overall integrity and coherence of the program and its effectiveness in support of business goals.
  • Quality Audits: Perform quality program and customer/business satisfaction audits to measure system effectiveness and compliance.
  • IT Governance: Participate in cross-functional IT Governance activities, setting objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary education in MIS, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in an IT or IT audit environment.
  • Sound knowledge of IT audit principles, IT practices, and standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and report writing skills.
