About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Carpentry Assistant to join our team at Aim Framing LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
  • Clean and organize salvaged materials, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
