Westlake Pipe & Fittings is a leading manufacturer of polyvinyl chloride pipe and fittings in North America. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Woobridge, ON.
About the Job:
The Engineering Co-Op will work closely with our Maintenance Superintendent, Operations Manager, and Process Engineer on various design and operation improvement projects. Responsibilities include:
- Performing theoretical analysis on various production scenarios
- Providing recommendations for the creation and approval of SOPs
- Researching state-of-the-art extrusion and automation technology
- Participating in cross-functional continuous improvement teams
- Creating plant layouts, tooling drawings, and critical spare part drawings through reverse engineering
- Entering plant maintenance data into our computerized maintenance management software, MP2
Requirements:
We are looking for a 3rd-year engineering student with a strong background in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply.
