Job Summary

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Systems Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing quality work and recommending improvements to ensure customer satisfaction is met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and commission fire alarm systems to ensure building occupancy can be taken.
  • Complete various reports and documents related to the work performed.
  • Complete inspections of fire alarm systems as per Can/ULC S536.
  • Complete verifications of fire alarm systems as per Can/ULC S537.
  • Complete fire extinguisher inspections as per NFPA-10.
  • Complete emergency lighting inspections as per the local authority having jurisdiction.
  • Communicate with the customer and determine the nature of the problem or trouble with the fire alarm system.
  • On-call rotation and some after-hours and weekends are required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2+ years of experience in the electronics field or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience servicing fire alarm systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Must have a valid certification
  • Must have a valid Provincial Driver's License
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for a Federal Security Clearance (Reliability/Secret)
