Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-orientated Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Edmonton, AB.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the assigned portfolio, which spans multifamily residential and commercial clients within the Edmonton Zone. They must be willing to work with some out-of-city and overnight stay requirements, as required.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of staff, including both unionized and non-unionized employees.
  • Plan, supervise, inspect, and schedule the overall day-to-day and maintenance operations.
  • Ensure facilities comply with safety, electrical, plumbing, mechanical system, refrigeration, and pool filtration requirements, and take necessary action to resolve non-compliance as appropriate.
Maintenance & Operations

The Industrial Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining heating and cooling systems (HVAC), plumbing, and other building infrastructure. They will conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies.

The successful candidate will possess experience in project scoping, estimating, planning, and executing work. They will coordinate small to medium capital projects, renovations, and other special projects.

Compliance & Standards

The Industrial Maintenance Manager must ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded. They must guarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance comply with appropriate codes and environmental protection requirements.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have a Red Seal Journeyman Certificate in HVAC/Gasfitter with a minimum of years' experience. A Class B Gas Fitter License is required; Class A is preferred. They must also have a valid Class license and clean driver abstract.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
