Job Title: Senior Analyst, PAM Control

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, PAM Control to join our team. As a key member of our Privileged Access Management (PAM) team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our Canadian and LATAM business lines in the operations and management of Privileged Accounts and access across all information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide PAM Advisory services to support desks, infrastructure teams, technology partners, and other Information security teams to maintain a strong security posture of the Bank.
  • Assist in the analysis of current and desired state of information security controls, particularly relating to Privileged Access Management on Operating systems, Databases, Network devices, and Applications.
  • Develop and maintain reports on access management and provide summary reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management of Privileged Access on various flavors of Operating Systems.
  • Provide structured and creative thinking in a dynamic, multi-team-based environment.

Requirements:

  • Advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English and Spanish. Spanish is a strong asset.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical working experience in information technology or information security fields.
  • 4+ years experience in the administration of Privileged Access Management tools like CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, and or Secret Server.
  • Technical logical understanding of various *Nix (Linux/AIX/Solaris etc) platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in access management on common Database platforms could be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries, running PowerShell and bash scripts is desired.
  • Privileged access knowledge of GCP, GCVE, and providing critical guidance with various business stakeholders in protecting the Enterprise in the Cloud.
  • Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high-scale projects.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.

Recommended Certifications: CISSP; CCSP; CISM
