Job Title: Apprentice Construction Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Construction Electrician to join our team at Shree Electrical Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This is a temporary position with a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Commission systems and components
Requirements:
  • Working at heights training
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Valid driver's licence
