We are seeking a skilled Glazing Expert to join our team at Coast Glass Ltd.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products, including windows, doors, and other hardware. This is a permanent position that requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work at heights.
Responsibilities- Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project
- Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications
- Position and secure panes in frame with accuracy and efficiency
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
- Install door, window, and other hardware with precision and care
- Prepare shop drawings and estimates for clients
- Repair glass doors and other glass structures as needed
- Supervise other workers and ensure high-quality results
- 2 years of experience in glazing or a related field
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Criminal record check and basic security clearance
- Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Experience with curtain wall installation and scaffolding
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to wear steel-toed safety boots and maintain a safe working area.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
