Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, taking care to prevent damage and ensure accurate inventory.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain vehicle safety.
  • Inspect Vehicles: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Record Cargo Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
