Job Title: Head Housekeeper

About the Role:

The Head Housekeeper is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and maintenance in our facilities. This role requires a strong leader who can supervise and coordinate a team of housekeepers and janitors, while also maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeepers and janitors to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they meet expected standards
  • Complete inventory and order supplies to budget parameters
  • Assist the Camp Manager with reporting and paperwork
  • Observe and report any needed repairs or damages in the work area
  • Comply with all WHMIS, HACCP, and Food Safe standards
  • Represent the cleaning staff on the Joint Health & Safety Committee

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Two or more years of experience in a senior housekeeping role
