About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Jayne Industries Inc. as a key member of our Fabrication and Installation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and Manage Resources: Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Lead Production Teams: Supervise and coordinate the activities of labourers and welders, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Oversee the operation of company equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Recruit and Train: Recruit and hire workers, train or arrange for training, and develop staff to meet the needs of the department.
  • Coordinate Activities: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including production, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in metal products manufacturing.
  • Certifications: Welder Trade Certification.
  • Industry Experience: Metal products manufacturing experience, preferably in fabrication and installation.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
