We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at our Lethbridge, AB branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and service a wide range of construction equipment, including earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make required repairs in the shop or in the field.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders.
  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson certification (421A or 310T) is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience, preferably working on a variety of construction equipment.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Must have a complete set of tools and be available to work overtime as required.
  • Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools, as well as diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
