Taxation Specialist

Your Role:

• Plan, organize, and execute reorganization and tax planning mandates;
• Develop tax optimization strategies and draft tax opinions;
• Supervise and coordinate the execution of mandates and ensure their efficient completion;
• Act as intermediary between government authorities and clients;
• Participate in the review of income tax and information returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts;
• Presentation of clients with results of work performed;
• Mentor tax interns;
• Collaborate with the assurance team.

Your Profile:

• Hold a Master's degree in taxation (CPA or Bar);
• Three to five years' experience in taxation (experience in an accounting or law firm is an asset);
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical skills;
• Familiarity with MS Office, Taxprep, and tax research software (Taxnet Pro and IntelliConnect);
• Excellent knowledge of English and the Office suite;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple files simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
