Job Title: Truck Driver-Supervisor

Roman Building Materials LTD is seeking a skilled Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our truck fleet and supervising our drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze production and other reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend measures to enhance work methods and improve productivity.
  • Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and suggest ways to improve product quality.
  • Supervise workers and projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance the skills of our drivers and other team members.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures, as necessary.
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals, requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Permanent work arrangement with a 30-35 hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
