**Job Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Co-op Student to join our team as an Engineering Co-op Student - Product Development. The successful candidate will assist the Project Engineer with projects related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes within our facility.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in updating existing plant layouts and technical drawings related to specific projects and equipment.
  • Contribute to engineering and process projects aimed at improving the manufacturing area.
  • Support the Project Engineer in various specific projects.
  • Provide assistance in updating and ensuring the accuracy of line layouts and line improvements.
  • Assist with the installation of equipment related to new product start-up.
  • Contribute to line efficiency and improvement projects.
  • Input into project layout and design.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all applicable job procedures outlined in the SOP manual.
  • Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Ensure GMPs and safe food handling practices are being followed.

**Requirements**

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Understanding of processes related to manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
