Job Description

We are seeking an Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our team at Learning for life Childcare Ltd. This is a permanent full-time position, working 32 hours per week.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children aged [0-5]. You will lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and educational outings to promote learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their overall well-being and development.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional security.
  • Lead activities and games designed to stimulate children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying potential areas for improvement and reporting back to parents or guardians.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing regular updates to parents or guardians.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • ECE Level 1 certification or equivalent qualification.
  • College or CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a childcare setting.
