About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at MSB Metal Industries Inc. as a Precision Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure precise manufacturing.
  • Fabricate and Assemble Components: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring high-quality finished products.
  • Maintain and Repair Equipment: Regularly maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document and Report: Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintaining accurate inspection records and completing inspection reports.
  • Verify Dimensions: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including CNC machines, to manufacture precision parts.
  • Inspect and Test: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: General manufacturing environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Proficiency in using computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently. You will be working with a variety of equipment and machinery, including CNC machines, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports.
