We are Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc, a forward-thinking company on a mission to build innovative Amazon competitive intelligence tools for sellers and brands.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applied Data Scientist to join our fast-paced Engineering team. This role is based in the PST - EST timezone in Canada and can be fulfilled remotely.

This position involves creating real-time machine learning models that leverage massive datasets to tackle customer challenges and deliver scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include diving into hands-on analysis, building machine learning pipelines, and assessing how your solutions perform in the real world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create real-time machine learning models that leverage massive datasets to tackle customer challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Dive into hands-on analysis, build machine learning pipelines, and assess how your solutions perform in the real world.
  • Spot and define new business challenges in Amazon competitive intelligence, honing in on market trends, traffic, and advertising analytics.
  • Keep our machine learning systems working smoothly, delivering millions of predictions every day.
Requirements:
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the industry (or similar) and hold a Master's or PhD.
  • You're a pro at machine learning best practices and have a solid grasp of statistics.
  • You've got hands-on experience creating and deploying algorithms and models to production, collaborating closely with machine learning engineers.
  • You know how to turn customer needs into data-driven solutions.
  • You're familiar with the software development lifecycle and have worked with version control, CI/CD, and different environments.
Technical Skills:
  • You have a strong command of SQL.
  • You have technical skills in Python.
Salary Estimate:

The estimated salary for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location.
