Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Direct Coil Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse and to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the receipt and shipment of goods, including inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking and reporting on stock levels, shortages, and damaged goods.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise material handlers and helpers, oversee loading and unloading of goods, and ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels, including generating reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Forklift Operator Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in database software, inventory control software, and spreadsheet applications, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience operating industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts.
