Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical-Structural Engineer to join our team in support of fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting liaison activities with production teams, designing structures and mechanical systems, and performing engineering project management tasks for various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical investigations and provide engineering support for fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft
  • Participate in liaison engineering duties and collaborate with production teams to achieve schedule milestones
  • Perform non-standard repairs and structural design changes with analysis to support aircraft maintenance and modification programs
  • Design mechanical system modifications for aircraft
  • Manage engineering projects related to modifications, alternate parts, or changes to maintenance programs
  • Lead aircraft modification design projects
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports to support aircraft modification and installation projects
  • Perform airworthiness functions related to design changes implemented via repairs or modifications
  • Review and prepare formal reports and other engineering deliverables
  • Mentor less-experienced engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering
  • Eligibility for registration in ENS or Tech Nova
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows environments
  • Project management concepts and experience working in a team environment
  • Desirable: military or commercial aircraft experience or equivalent engineering experience

Location and Salary:

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and location factors.
