Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the retail team at Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween, responsible for driving sales and profitability in a fast-paced store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain exceptional Guest Services, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Support the Store Manager in various tasks, including staff development, expense control, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while controlling costs and minimizing shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure effective visual merchandising and display of products.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Prior retail and management experience required.
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day, standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
