Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for writing, modifying, integrating, and testing software code. Your expertise in computational mathematics and chemical physics will be invaluable in developing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
  • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products
  • Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges, and Internet-based applications
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
  • Manage incidents
  • JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
  • Robotic process automation
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Realize modelling and simulation exercises on computerized units
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data
  • Use ensemble modelling to combine multiple algorithms to obtain better predictive performance
  • Leverage existing natural language processing (NLP) technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to develop communication assistance features

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in computational mathematics or chemical physics
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development
  • Expertise in computational mathematics and chemical physics
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Fortran, and other relevant languages
  • Experience with Git, MySQL, and other relevant tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
