Pharmaceutical Assistant

We are seeking an entry-level pharmaceutical assistant to join our team at Save-On-Foods. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the healthcare industry and contribute to a dynamic team.

The pharmaceutical assistant will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with various tasks, including patient consultations, medication management, and inventory control. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist pharmacists with patient consultations, medication counseling, and treatment plans
• Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records
• Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping

• Education: Diploma or certificate in pharmacy technology or a related field
• Experience: 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment
• Other qualifications: Basic knowledge of pharmacy software and systems

This is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a busy retail pharmacy environment and must be able to lift up to 25 kg.
