About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist will play a vital role in transforming respiratory health at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing cutting-edge therapies and techniques to manage respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify respiratory needs
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registration as a Respiratory Therapist with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario
  • Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
