Speech-Language Pathology Professional

Position Overview
The successful candidate will provide leadership in the care of clients, contributing to the assessment, planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of care related to the profession of Speech-Language Pathology in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set out for Speech-Language Pathologists by the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Manitoba.
Experience
- Previous experience in the field of Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited post-secondary institution is required.
- Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba is mandatory.
- Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada is also required.
Qualifications and Skills
- The successful candidate will possess a skilled ability in the assessment, identification, and treatment of clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal, is required.
Physical Requirements
- The successful candidate must be in good physical and mental health and be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time without resting.
- Must be able to work under stress and time constraints.
This position is subject to a Criminal Records Check (including vulnerable sector), Adult Abuse Registry Check, and a Child Abuse Registry Check. The successful candidate will be responsible for any services charges incurred.
