AWS Solutions Architect, Enterprise Sector

As a Solutions Architect at Amazon, you will partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other teams to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
Key Responsibilities- Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform, in partnership with the sales team.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Design and guide cloud architectural builds, with a focus on scalability, flexibility, and resilience.
- Develop and present technical solutions to customers, including proof-of-concept code and demos.
- Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.
The SA Commercial team is located across Canada and supports clients in the enterprise, independent software vendors, financial services, small medium business, and greenfield sectors. We are passionate about designing and guiding cloud architectural builds, and we are looking for a talented Solutions Architect to join our team.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in a technical solutions architect role, designing, implementing distributed applications, databases, analytics, and networks.
- Pre-sales experience and/or experience contributing to requests for proposal.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT managers, and developers.
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
