Job Description

We are seeking an experienced barber to join our team as a team lead. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting and styling hair, providing hair treatments, and offering personalized advice in a fast-paced urban barbershop setting.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers’ hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences
  • Perform blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, locking, relaxing, and roller setting


Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Require attention to detail
  • Need hand-eye co-ordination
  • Stand for extended periods


Requirements:

We require 1-2 years experience in a barbershop setting, a permanent position, and a 40 hours workweek.
