Role Overview

As a Personal Insurance Associate at Hub International Canada West ULC, you will play a vital role in helping individuals protect their most valuable assets. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service through your positive and friendly demeanor, while educating clients on our excellent product knowledge in habitational, travel, and automobile insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include engaging with clients to understand and advise on their insurance needs, following up on sales leads and referral prospects, processing and conducting renewals, and ensuring policies are processed and issued accurately in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for achieving sales and retention goals and targets, as well as maintaining a high level of knowledge in all our Personal Lines and Auto products through continuous education and learning opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 1-year Personal Insurance experience, a Level 2 General Insurance License is an asset but not required. You will also need to demonstrate a desire and proactive ability to deliver exceptional client service, as well as the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment. Additionally, you will need to have a keen eye for detail and a high sense of urgency, strong communication skills in both written and verbal, and the ability to drive sales initiatives.

What We Offer

At Hub International Canada West ULC, we offer a comprehensive benefit and total compensation package that includes extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses and commissions for some positions. Our salary range for this position is $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, and working location.
