Job Summary:

MPE Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Drafter to join our team. As an Electrical Design Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and drawings for various industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft electrical systems, including industrial controls, electrical distribution systems, and lighting systems.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed electrical drawings and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical design and drafting software.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical design standards and best practices within the company.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical design and drafting.
  • Eligibility for membership in a professional engineering association.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in electrical engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electrical design for industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
