Job Summary

Quantumbricks is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining a reliable, scalable, and secure platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Engineering Stakeholders: Work closely with our Engineering team to design and maintain a robust platform that meets our company's goals.
  • Optimize Deployment Tooling and Infrastructure: Optimize existing deployment tooling and infrastructure, including creating and maintaining new CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing infrastructure for cost or performance.
  • Identify Areas for Improvement: Collaborate with the Engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Provide DevOps Domain Expertise: Provide DevOps domain expertise for existing projects and new initiatives.
  • Set up and Maintain Test Environments: Set up and maintain test environments for manual and automated testing.
  • Conduct Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing: Conduct and analyze results of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing and act on findings.
  • Perform Routine Application Maintenance: Plan and perform ongoing routine application maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in On-Call Rotations: Participate in on-call rotations for monitoring and alerting.
  • Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities: Identify cost-saving opportunities within our infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or automation engineering.
  • Cloud Technologies: Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with running and managing systems and services on a cloud platform (AWS).
  • Database Technologies: Strong understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux systems.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of Terraform and Packer.
  • Agile Development Experience: Experience deploying cloud services, monitoring, alerting, and handling critical issues.
  • Team Player: Works well in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Autonomous Working Environment: The ability to work without close supervision and thrive in an autonomous working environment that allows for high levels of freedom.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Continuous Learning: Technical curiosity and desire for continuous learning.
