About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Artisan to join our team at Eataly North America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas and baked goods that meet our authentic Italian standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Production: Prepare pizzas according to our proprietary recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
  • Quality Control: Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and department rules to maintain the highest level of quality in our products.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary food production area, adhering to Department of Health standards and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Sales Associates to ensure seamless service and engage with guests interested in learning about our pizza-making process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist in mastering all shifts in pizza production and contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in a back-of-house production position, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or bakery environment.
  • Skillset: Good work ethic, effective communication, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
Working Conditions
  • Availability: Ability to work onsite with an open, flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to work with a wood-burning oven, electric pizza convection oven, and commercial spiral mixer.
