At Health Careers in Sask, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Services Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility/plant systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Conduct inspections to identify and report potential maintenance issues.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including power tools and hand tools.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal facility operation.
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial).
- Fireman Boiler Operator certificate.
- Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment, and ability to work independently.
- A competitive salary range of $22.600 to $24.210 (3 step range).
- A full-time temporary position with a maximum expected end date of October 28, 2026.
- A 14-shift schedule of 8 hours per 3 weeks, with no relief or float required.
