Job Title: Renewable Energy Sustainability Specialist
About the Job:
Borea Construction is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Environmental Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and monitor the construction of wind farm projects in Quebec, ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities' conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, coordinate, and monitor environmental aspects of the project.
- Validate compliance with specifications, monitoring plans, laws, regulations, and conditions of regulatory authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of any changes.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, approval authorities, and project stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Pursue environmental permits and certificates of authorization as required.
- Develop solutions to address environmental concerns and participate in the development of new tools and services offered by the company.
- Collaborate with colleagues to obtain exemptions or additional authorizations when necessary.
- Participate in site meetings and write monitoring reports to document progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in environment, engineering, forestry, biology, or a related field.
- Demonstrate at least 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction industry.
- Have advanced knowledge of environmental standards applicable to construction sites (RADF).
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software and possess strong technological skills.
- Demonstrate an advanced level of bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken.
- Experience in the construction industry and its health and safety standards is an asset.

Compensation Package:
