Agronomy Assistant

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien™, is a leader in providing full-acre solutions to growers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Agronomy Assistant - Crop Optimization Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our agronomy team, you will assist our agronomists in providing expert advice to growers on crop optimization strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge of agriculture and crop management to real-world situations.

About the Role:

• You will work closely with our agronomists to develop and implement crop optimization plans for growers.
• You will conduct field trials and gather data on crop performance to inform decision-making.
• You will provide recommendations to growers on fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs.
• You will assist with the planning and execution of field days and grower meetings.
• You will maintain strong relationships with growers and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year higher education degree program in Agriculture or a related field.
• Must have a graduation date of December 2024 or later.
• Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license.
