Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Optician to join our team at Oliver Peoples, a luxury eyewear brand. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate and timely completion of optical work, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience in our stores.
  • Optical Work: Accurately and efficiently complete optical work, including taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and executing all details.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales and provide expert advice to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and control stock to ensure that products are available for customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with store managers and colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure: State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician.
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in the luxury service industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computer software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
